Sharing Conversations

Turn a great support conversation into a shareable image — a clean, branded card showing the exchange, the resolution time, and the customer’s rating — plus ready-to-post text for LinkedIn or X. Nothing is published by Applied: you download or copy the image and post it wherever you like.

Where you can share from

  • Conversation menu — open the details panel’s menu and choose Share conversation under Actions.
  • Highlight text in a message — select a customer quote in the thread and choose Share quote from the floating toolbar. The card opens in quote format with your selection.
  • Message menu — choose Share from here in a message’s action menu.
  • Audits — after rating a conversation 5 stars in an audit, a share prompt appears in the audit panel.
  • Highlights tab — the Highlights tab on the Audit page collects standout conversations automatically (rated 5 stars, or where the customer expressed real gratitude), each with a one-click Share button.
  • Assistant — ask the assistant to find conversations worth sharing; it reads through recent conversations and returns share-ready cards.

The share dialog

The dialog opens with a live preview of the card and generated post text:

  • Formats — Full exchange (the conversation as chat bubbles), Highlight quote (one standout customer line), Stat spotlight (the resolution time front and center), and Feedback (the customer’s CSAT survey comment — available when the conversation has one). Light and dark card themes are available.
  • Choose messages — trim the thread to the part worth showing with Edit selection.
  • Edit anything in place — click any text on the card to edit it, and use the eye toggles on metric tiles to show or hide them. Hidden metrics are left out of the exported image. Reset restores the original version.
  • Post text — a generated description of the win, written in your voice, with LinkedIn and X length variants. Edit it freely or hit Regenerate for a different angle.

Review before you share

Cards show conversation text as written. Before sharing, check the card for sensitive details — names, order numbers, email addresses — and edit them out directly on the card. The dialog shows a reminder each time.

Posting

  • Download image or Copy image and paste it into any composer — LinkedIn, X, Slack, or anywhere else.
  • Copy text grabs the post text.
  • The LinkedIn and X buttons copy the image to your clipboard and open a prefilled draft in the platform’s composer — paste the image and post.

Metrics on the card are always real: the resolution time and star rating come from the conversation record, and a rating only appears when the customer actually left one.
